Reflection

What I have not learned anything about blogging but what I have learned is to research things earlier.what was really easy to me was typing the information that I got off of the Internet. What I would do next time is to describe what I did on this blog. I really don't no how I would change my questions and survey question?

I agree that teen shouldn't have sex because the number of babies are growing. If teens weren't having sex there wouldn't be so many teen mothers. I guess I have no experience because I don't know anybody that is pregnant.

recommindations

It is not good to have a baby at an young age because, it is not cute at all when you are 13, and you are still in school. You feel so crazy because you are the one that is pregnant in the school, and you feel that you shouldn't have gotten pregnant. Now you have to deal with a baby all by yourself, the boy you had sex with doesn't want to deal with you and the baby any more. You are stuck taking care of the baby by yourself .

Conclusion

Based on my data most 9th graders at Decatur High School agree that teen pregnancy is growing.Based on these sources some people think teens get pregnant because they want to or on purpose.My research teaches that some teenage girls get pregnant so they can escape their abuse, And the other girl in the article was also raped by her older brother, so if she got pregnant it wouldn't be her choice. These two sources did not agree. So if you are teen you may look at pregnancy one way and if you are an adult you may look at it another way.

Teen pregnancy

My readers are looking at a chart of teen pregnancy and 3% of the people disagree that teen are having babies to early, and 24% of them are neutral. And 57% of them agree that teen pregnancy is growing and 34% of them strongly agree that teens are having babies at a very early age.the in this suvey are 9th grade students at Decatrur High School.

In the article Silence Broken: surviving the trauma of childhood incest a girl named Tracy was raped by her older brother before she was 12. And it made her feel like she wasn't safe anywhere.

And a girl named Rose thinks she got pregnant at 15 and married at 19 was away to escape her father's constant sexual advances and innuendos.

Questions

Why are children having children?
Why are they having sex early?
Why would a girl who had been sexually assaulted as a child want to have sex at 13 or 14?
What feelings would she have after she was assaulted?

Research Topic

The reason I choose this topic is because, teens have sex and some don't know that they might get pregnant and some of the teens want to get pregnant. But when they they have the baby they don't know how to take care of them. So some of the teen moms might put there children up for adoption so they don't have to take care of them anymore.

About teen pregnancy

What i already know about teen pregnancy is that is is increasing very fast. And while I was reading a book about teen pregnancy a girl named Ginger who is 13 and her mom is an alcoholic and she was badly abused. But when ginger told her mom that she was pregnant, she "hit the roof."
